PrintScreen saves what an installed chat deletes

Using a private AI chat with no account means your conversations are kept for 30 days in this browser, then deleted. PrintScreen is a free Windows 10 and 11 screenshot tool: press Prt Scr, select an area, then copy it, save it locally or get a shareable link, with no trial and no watermark added.

The same lack of an account that makes an AI chat quick to install also means nothing is kept for long, no matter how useful a particular answer turned out to be: chats are deleted after 30 days. A screenshot is the plain way to keep something past that point.

Why chats do not stay forever

An app installed with no account has nothing tied to you personally on a server; recent chats are listed in this browser and kept for 30 days, then deleted, unless you saved the reply yourself beforehand. This is the same trade that made it quick to install in the first place, and it applies whether the chat is open in a browser tab or pinned as an app on your home screen.

What PrintScreen does

PrintScreen is a free screenshot app for Windows 10 and 11. Press the Prt Scr key, select any part of the screen, then copy the selection, save it locally, or generate a short shareable link to send elsewhere. It is free forever, with no trial period and no watermark added to the image, regardless of how often you use it.

Windows only, stated plainly

PrintScreen works on Windows. On macOS or Linux, the site itself points you to the operating system's built-in screenshot tools instead of offering its own separate download for those platforms. If your installed AI chat runs on a different platform than Windows, this specific tool is not the one to reach for, and you should use what your system already provides.

What it does not do

PrintScreen does not combine a long, scrolling page into one continuous image, does not add arrows or other markup on top of the capture, does not blur or edit text within it, and does not run text recognition on what it captures. There is no cloud library and no mobile app; it is a capture-and-save tool, nothing more layered on top of that core job.

Using it right after a chat

Once you have an answer worth keeping, press Prt Scr, drag over the reply, and either copy it or save the file. That single step keeps the reply past the 30 days the chat itself holds it, and it costs nothing to do each time you want to hold onto something specific from a longer session.
